Norwegian Cruise Line Cancellation and Refund PolicyThe following policies shall apply to any and all Norwegian Cruise Line cancellations. You must submit your cancellation in writing to your travel agent and we will then notify Norwegian Cruise Line. Depending upon when the cruise is canceled, a cancellation charge may apply. We highly recommend Travel Insurance to protect yourself from penalties assessed for canceling due to medical reasons for yourself or family members.
Holiday sailings have similar cancellation penalties, however, they require more notification of cancellation to avoid penalties. For Holiday Cruises, penalties begin at 95 days prior to departure. Reservations that are not paid in full by the final payment date are subject to cancellation, and in the event a reservation is cancelled, a cancellation fee will apply. No refunds will be given on any cruise for no-shows. No refunds will be made in the event of interruption or cancellation by any passenger after the cruise begins. Cancellation fees for air, land and other add-on charges will apply even if the reservation is not cancelled in full. Gateway changes, flight date changes and name substitutions are considered cancellations, and air cancellation fees will apply. Additionally, spelling corrections may be considered cancellations. Name substitutions and departure date changes for cruise, land and other add-ons are considered cancellations and are subject to cancellation fees. All appropriate refunds will be made to the Guest through their travel agent, except for those payments made by credit card, in which case the amount of the refund will be credited directly to the cardholder's account. Any inquiries about a refund must be made by the Guest to the travel agent. If cancellation fees are charges by air carriers, pre- or post- cruise land operators, hotels or shore excursion operators, they will be deducted from any refund pursuant to this paragraph. Norwegian Cruise Line will not be responsible for the receipt of refund monies by the guest, except for those refunds made to the credit card holder's account. Changes require the prior approval of Norwegian Cruise Line and may not always be possible. Absolutely NO Exceptions will be made on cancellation charges. We highly recommend the purchase of Travel
