In our last Free Wi-Fi Hotspots post, we discussed the benefits of disconnecting on a cruise vacation.

But, we all know that we can’t fully unplug. There are times we may need to get in touch with someone at home or they just have to see a picture of the Caribbean’s most beautiful beach you’ve ever seen – right now!

If you’re taking a cruise to George Town, Grand Cayman you do have a few locations near the cruise ship dock. So to save you a little time, we’ve put together a list of free Wi-Fi hotspots in Grand Cayman.

Keep in Mind:

Wi-Fi is great for keeping up with everyone at home, or uploading pictures, but it is still an unsecured connection. Protect yourself by not conducting any personal business, like accessing bank information, over an unsecured connection especially while traveling internationally.

While we have gathered the latest information on hotspots, they can always change, so the crew of your ship may be the best resource for finding free or inexpensive Wi-Fi hotspots; this is how they keep in touch with their families, too!

All ships currently anchor in the harbor and tender passengers on to the island. Ships tender passengers to one of two downtown George Town piers (North or South). Shopping and restaurants are located right at the pier. Seven Mile Beach is just a few miles from the cruise dock and one of the most popular visitor attractions in Grand Cayman, often considered one of the best beaches in the Caribbean.
