See the financial district of Pudong, dominated by the Oriental Pearl Tower and the 125-story Shanghai Tower, China's tallest building and the world's second tallest skyscraper, at 632 meters (2,073 ft) high. Shanghai, the largest city by population in the world, has been growing at a rate of about 10 percent per year for more than 20 years, and is now home to over 26 million people. Visit one of the towers' observation decks for a bird's eye view of your choice (not included in the price of this tour).

Take a break for lunch and taste the delicious and authentic cuisine served in a restaurant with a traditional tea ceremony afterward. Experience a true taste of China and some of the many cultural traditions found here.

Continue your day and explore the trendy Xintiandi quarter, located in the center of Shanghai City and south of Middle Huaihai Road. Xintiandi is a fashionable pedestrian street composed of old-style and modern architecture where traditional shikumen houses, homes to the middle classes in the 1920s and 1930s, testify to Shanghai's one-time European glamour. This quarter is a wonder to behold, retaining the antique walls, tiles and exterior of the Shikumen residences of old Shanghai while embodying a totally modern world in its interior.

At the end of your tour, you will travel back to the pier area and your ship, allowing more time for additional exploration on your own.
