Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle

Just above the River Thames lies the majestic Windsor Castle. This castle, with over 900 years of historical and architectural significance, is the largest continuously inhabited palace in the entire world. Monarchs have lived and ruled from this castle and left their mark on England and the rest of the world. After the Windsor Castle tour, you will enjoy a break for lunch before heading to Buckingham Palace, where Her Majesty, The Queen officially resides. Buckingham Palace serves as her office and home. You will see the State Rooms, many of which are used regularly by the royal family for entertainment, state functions, and ceremonies. You will also be able to admire the wonderful pieces of art furnishing the many rooms accessible to the public. The tour ends once you reach the Palace, providing you with the freedom to explore at your leisure.
