Private Horseback Ride and Falls

Do you want to explore the authentic Samana Province of the Dominican Republic apart from hordes of other tourists? You are on the tour now. During this extensive private tour, travel back in time and experience a simpler way of living. You will come across kind residents that are happy to have you visit their nation and backyard so you may enjoy the scenery and discover their way of life.

You will go to a private ranch where horses are housed, about 25 minutes away, after meeting your guide at the pier. You will pass neighborhood farms while riding to a little general shop situated in the midst of the countryside after getting saddled up. As soon as you arrive, you will have the opportunity to experience locally grown coffee, freshly selected local fruits, and traditional chocolate. Then, mount your horse again and ride along the river valley, fording many rivers like a cowboy in a western movie. You could even go for a mile or two along the center of the river if the conditions allow it. Riding takes around one to two hours altogether, with the ride concluding at El Valle Beach.

Don't forget a few bills, since local youngsters may approach you at the beach with handcrafted rings and bracelets fashioned from banana leaves for a dollar. Swimming is not safe on the beach, but its natural beauty more than compensates for it. You will ride the horses to the Zumbador Waterfalls on the way back. At Zumbador Waterfalls, you'll have around 20 minutes of free time to admire the scenery, go for a brief swim, or leap into the water from the cliffs above.

Please note: Expect bumps on the majority of the unpaved roads you'll be traveling on during the journey.The maximum weight for the horse is 250 pounds. Any guests weighing over 250 pounds will not be allowed to participate and will not be entitled to a refund. Guests who are impaired by drugs, alcohol, or any other substance that might impair their ability to make decisions or respond quickly will not be allowed to participate and will not be eligible for a refund.
