The Celebrity Cruises ships are divided into 4 classes or series, as they call them. The main difference between these ship classes is, in the first place, the gross tonnage and the maximum guest capacity onboard, and on the other hand, the itineraries, sailings, and locations they visit. These 4 classes or series are Edge Class, Solstice Class, Millennium Class, and Expedition Class.

• Edge Class: All cruise ships on this class boast several technological and innovative features such as the Infinite Veranda cabins that have outward-facing walls made out entirely of glass, a feature that was, until recently, only seen on river cruise ships due to their smaller size. Another technological innovation found on all Edge Class Ships is the Magic Carpet, a multi-purpose platform the size of a tennis court that cantilevers over one side of the ship, it can be moved upwards or downwards and even used as an alternative dining area that can sit up to 90 guests. All ships in this class offer more than 32 dining areas, bars, and lounges for a new and unforgettable experience on each meal. • Solstice Class: Despite debuting in 2008 with Celebrity Solstice, the Solstice Class still has some unique features that, as of 2024, are not found anywhere else in the cruise industry, this made the Solstice Class ships very innovative and became an emblem of Celebrity Cruises. The Lawn Club is the first and only outdoor area at sea that features real grass, they are maintained by a team of full-time greenskeepers who oversee a state-of-the-art and complex irrigation system that guarantees the grass to look as green and healthy as ever. The Lawn Club is equipped with wooden chairs, cabanas, and hammocks; guests can play lawn games such as croquet there.
