Silversea Cruises Cancellation and Refund Policy

Recent updates have been made to cancellation schedules and refund guidelines for various cruise lines. Contact your Sales Agent or our Customer Service department" by phone at 1-800-543-1915 and ask about potential opportunities for flexible cancellation policies, rebooking opportunities and other options.
Silversea's Cruise with Confidence Policy
Effective May 6, 2024 both final payment and the start of the cancellation charges phase will now be aligned at 150 days prior to sailing.
This update addresses a common source of confusion, as it ensures that guests are not subject to cancellation charges before completing their final payment. Here are the key benefits:
- Simplified Understanding: By aligning the final payment due date with the start of the cancellation charges period, we are providing greater clarity to the booking process and applicable deadlines.
- No Impact on Non-Refundable Fares: Rest assured, this change will not affect the timeline as to when cruise fares become non-refundable.
- Effective Date applies only to bookings made after May 6, 2024; any bookings made prior to this date are not impacted.
Please note that no action is required on your part. These changes will be automatically updated in Silversea reservation system for your convenience.

If you find it necessary to cancel your reservation or any component thereof, you or your travel professional are required to contact the Silversea Reservations Department by telephone as well as submit your cancellation in writing. If your cancellation request is received more than 150 days prior to your initial sailing date, a $200 non-refundable administrative fee will be charged per booking. This administrative fee may be converted to a future cruise credit valid for travel within 12 months from the date of the cancelled voyage.
