After breakfast, your Adventure Guide will lead you through the highlights of Grand Teton National Park, which boasts 310,000 acres of lush valley, mountain meadows, alpine lakes, and majestic mountains. Nomadic Indians, Native American tribes, early American explorers, and permanent settlers once called this national park home. Explore the Craig Thomas Discovery Center, followed by lunch and a visit to the scenic Jenny Lake, the centerpiece of the park, tucked away at the base of the Teton Range.

After breakfast, depart for Yellowstone National Park, admiring the scenic views along the way and stopping at Snake River Overlook. Spend time exploring the lower loop of Yellowstone National Park. Stop at Fountain Paint Pot Trail, a great flat boardwalk, where you will see various hydrothermal features, including colorful mud in shades of red, yellow, and brown. Next, visit the world's most famous geyser, Old Faithful, and enjoy lunch and free time to explore this area. Enjoy a 2-night stay in a hotel, conveniently located near Yellowstone. Relax in the hotel before dining out on the town.
Day 4 - Saturday - Jul 13, 2024
After breakfast at the hotel, spend a full day at Yellowstone National Park, the World's First National Park, known for its unique hydrothermal and geologic features. This nearly 3,500-square-mile wilderness recreation area is set atop a volcanic hot spot and is bigger than the states of Rhode Island and Delaware combined. It has one of the world's largest petrified forests and also has over 290 waterfalls, including the impressive 308-foot Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River. Led by your Adventure Guide, visit the Mammoth Hot Springs and Artist Point. Enjoy lunch in Canyon Village, where you can admire some of the parks most incredible views, including the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. Depart for Upper Yellowstone Park, enjoying breathtaking vistas along the way, as well as a visit to Mud Volcano. In the evening, enjoy dinner a local establishment, before returning to the hotel.

After a complimentary breakfast, we will depart for West Glacier. On your travels, stop at St. Regis Travel Center to stretch your legs and check out the small onsite trout aquarium. Next stop is at Famous Dave's BBQ for a delicious lunch. Before arriving at the hotel, explore the Apgar Visitor Center in Glacier National Park. In the evening, enjoy dinner, featuring Montana-inspired fare. Enjoy a two-night stay in a hotel, conveniently located near the west entrance to Glacier National Park.

Today, we will spend a full day at Glacier National Park. Established as a national park in 1910, the park features the unspoiled beauty of alpine meadows, deep forests, waterfalls, glistening glaciers, and sparkling lakes. Stop at Avalanche Creek Campground, one of the most popular sections of the park, to explore the Trail of the Cedars and enjoy a narrated boat ride around Lake McDonald. After lunch, your Adventure Guide will take you to the Avalanche Campground look out for some great photo opportunities. Later, enjoy free time at Apgar Village, where you can shop for the perfect souvenir at one of the gift shops. In the evening, dine at the renowned KOBE Steakhouse and Sushi restaurant, before returning to your hotel for an evening of relaxation.

Travel to Clarkston and board the ship to begin your cruise along the Columbia & Snake rivers. Astoria is the oldest American settlement west of the Rockies. Colorful Victorian homes adorn the hillside that climbs steeply up from the river, earning it the nickname "The Little San Francisco". Explore this remarkable town on your own or choose from a collection of well-curated excursions. Step into history on a guided exploration to the National Park Service replica of Fort Clatsop, the 1805-06 winter camp of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Board a local red trolley to ride along the picturesque waterfront or savor the perspective from a bluff high above the city at the picturesque Astoria Column. Peruse the town's quaint shops, galleries, wineries, and brew pubs. Or simply stroll off the ship to the nearby acclaimed Columbia River Maritime Museum.
